Congratulations, Nancy!

The Support Advocate of the Year Award 2024 was presented to Nancy Addison! Read pieces of her stunning nomination below:

Nancy has spent most of her life (over 35 years) fulfilling her lifelong personal mission of supporting others and continues to do so to this day. Nancy always makes those around her- her priority. Throughout her lifelong mission at CLA, Nancy is always ensuring that the team she works with always places the needs and dreams of the individuals supported at the top of the priority list. Her daily mission has been to make sure medical appointments are attended; people are participating and connected to their community; family is always welcomed; major events are always celebrated; and people are healthy, happy, safe and well. She championed health and well-being for many people. What stands out the most is the many years she supported people whose health issues seemed insurmountable. Nancy always delivered fun, joy and sunshine to the people she supported. It can be described as LOVE is what she brings into the lives of the people she has supported.

Although the award is for Support Advocate of the Year, please consider this award for the last 36 years of fulfilling a lifelong mission. We could not wait any longer to tell you how much you are appreciated and loved by all of us at CLA.
